Sonnet Technologies today announced the availability of the Fusion F2QR portable storage solution. Measuring 15cm x 15.6cm x 2.4cm and weighing 680 grams, the device stores two 2.5-inch 1TB hard drives and can operate in RAID 0 (fast), RAID 1 (safe), concatenated (span) and JBOD (Just a Bunch of Disks) configurations. The Sonnet Fusion F2QR has a rugged aluminum shell that makes it more durable and helps protect your important data. Additionally, the device also supports eSATA, FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interfaces that enable single cable connection to most computers. The company will launch the 2TB Fusion F2QR for $569 each.
